There is a diverse selection of cafeterias, coffee shops, bars, snack bars and a food court with fast food, sandwiches, cakes, pasta and pizza outlets within the Departures and Arrivals areas of the airport.

A duty free shop sells wines and spirits, tobacco and gifts in the airside Departures zone. There is also a pharmacy, bookshop, newsagent, tobacconist and shops selling luggage, sports clothes, accessories, sweets, Portuguese delicacies, fashion, toys and leather goods at Faro Airport.

Business Services

Faro Airport has a lounge for hire suitable for business meetings or conferences, with audio visual equipment. In addition, wifi is available throughout the terminal building.

Travel Services

Within the airport Departures and Arrivals areas, there are international car rental desks, baggage storage areas, porter service, lost and found, police, luggage seal service, tourist information, cash machines, bank, post office, currency exchange and VAT refund office.

Disabled Facilities

Faro Airport offers an innovative personalised service for disabled persons requiring assistance. The service, called My Way, has to be pre-booked but fully trained staff will assist with check-in, luggage, security controls, passport controls and boarding. In addition, all areas of the airport are accessible by lift or escalator, toilets and signs have been especially adapted and there are reserved parking spaces.

For The Kids

There is a colourful (unsupervised) children’s play area at Faro Airport, as well as several entertainment units throughout the terminal. Baby changing rooms and changing stations are also interspersed at regular intervals through the airport.

    I wounder if there is possible to rent golfgear at the Airport?

      We’re not aware of any companies offering this service at the airport but there are various companies in Faro itself where you can hire golf clubs.
