Jet2, a low-cost airline that offers flights to destinations across Europe, has announced that it will be launching a Free Resort Flight Check-in® Service at Faro Airport. This service means that customers will be able to check-in their bags at their hotel on the day of their departure. The bags are dropped off with the specialist team at the hotel, and are then safely transported to the airport and stowed on the aircraft.
The idea behind this service is that Jet2 customers will have more time to enjoy themselves at their hotel on the last day of their holiday, without having to worry about luggage for the rest of the day. It also saves time for Jet2 customers who choose to use this service, as they can move through to security earlier since their bags will have already gone through.
The service will also be offered at Madeira, Costa de Almeria and Girona (Costa Brava), which means it is now available in a total of 13 destinations, including all Jet2 destinations in the Canary Islands and Cyprus.
