Porter services and trolleys
Like many airports across the world, Faro Airport provides a free trolley service for your convenience. The trolleys can also be found at a number of locations throughout the airport, including the departures lounge, baggage claim, outside the terminal building and in the car parks.
There is also a porter service if you need help with your suitcases and bags. This service is available by appointment, and must be booked up to 48 hours in advance. Please note that only cash payments are accepted for the porter service.
Baggage deposit and lost luggage
If you’re going to be at Faro Airport for some time and don’t want to have to carry your bags around with you all day, you can use the safe and secure baggage deposit service. There are lockers for use near Car Park P5 with prices varying according to the size of your bags and how long you would like to keep them there. Here is the pricing information so that you can plan ahead:
Prices per item and per four-hour period…
Small – €1.50 | 351mm X 457mm X 555mm
Medium- €2.00 | 351mm X 945mm X 555mm
Large – €2.50 | 525mm X 945mm X 555mm
Loss of receipt: €20.00 (per day)
Minimum payment: 4 hours
If you lose any of your luggage, don’t worry! Head to the baggage claim area first to see if they have found it. If, unfortunately, they have not been able to find it, you can get in touch with the airline handlers who may be able to help you further.
Hand luggage restrictions
If you’re taking any hand luggage with you, it’s important to know the limits before you travel. The maximum dimensions for carry-on luggage are 9 inches x 14 inches x 22 inches (22 cm x 35 cm x 56 cm). Note that this does include handles and wheels. There are also a number of restricted items that you will not be able to take with you.
