Tourists visiting the Algarve can now enjoy water park activities throughout the year. Initially due to open in 2022, Aquashow Indoor is now finally set up to welcome visitors this winter, and throughout the year.
Described as “the first indoor park on the Iberian Peninsula”, the new facility is located near the Aquashow Park Hotel and its outdoor water park (currently closed for the season).
Located in Loulé municipality in the Faro district, the resort hotel offers guests a diverse range of rooms (including connected rooms that are ideal for families), wellness and leisure facilities, and a restaurant offering both Portuguese and international cuisine.
The new indoor park is open every day from 10 a.m. to 6.30 p.m. The cost of tickets varies, depending on the length of stay, with reduced rates for children (free up to two years of age), pregnant women and people with disabilities.
The park is set up with slides “for all ages”, multiple spa experiences including a cold bath, Turkish bath, sauna, whirlpool and jacuzzi, a snack bar with a variety of menus, and “Heaven’s Challenge”, which consists of a circuit with obstacles over the park’s pools and slides, “always with maximum safety”.
Not included in the entrance fee is a playground for youngsters, equipped with trampolines, tunnels, bridges, slides and climbing walls. There is also a special space for birthday parties.
