Travelling golfers can now enjoy special Jet2holidays packages for one of Europe’s most popular golfing destinations, the Algarve. Launched following the success of the company’s Antalya golf packages (offered since last November), the new Algarve option gives golfers the opportunity of a holiday break including rounds of golf at a selection of hotels with top courses on-site or nearby.
The packages on sale to the Algarve offer a range of durations: seven nights with five rounds of golf per person; five nights with three rounds; or three nights with two rounds.
According to Jet2, “Customers booking a golf package with Jet2holidays can enjoy the usual perks of booking an ATOL protected holiday, including accommodation, VIP customer service, in-resort customer helpers, airport transfers, return flights with Jet2.com and 22-kilogram baggage allowance.”
In addition, golfers heading to courses close by will also be able to take advantage of travel to and from the course, and those who book a golf package to the Algarve with Jet2holidays between now and 6 April can take their own golf clubs with them for half price.
The Algarve is consistently ranked as one of Europe’s premier golf destinations, with more than 30 first-class courses extending along 140 kilometres of the region’s Atlantic coastline. These include the Signature course designed by Jack Nicklaus at Monte Rei; San Lorenzo in Quinta do Lago, close to the Ria Formosa Natural Park; and the Arnold Palmer-designed Dom Pedro Victoria Golf Course in Vilamoura, venue for the Portugal Masters on the DP World (formerly European) Tour.

Jet2 Celebrates 20 Years in Portugal
The first Jet2.com flight to Portugal landed in Faro from Leeds Bradford Airport In 2003. Two decades later, Jet2.com and its tour operator sister company Jet2holidays operates flights to Faro Airport from all 10 of their UK bases: Belfast International, Birmingham, Bristol, East Midlands, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds Bradford, London Stansted, Manchester and Newcastle International. As well as flights with Jet2.com and package holidays with Jet2holidays, customers can also travel on Jet2CityBreaks packages to Faro.

The 20th anniversary milestone was celebrated during a VIP event in Lisbon hosted by CEO Steve Heapy and attended by hoteliers and tourism industry partners.
