By Taxi
Taking a taxi from Faro Airport to Albufeira is the easiest way to go door-to-door, and anywhere else, but for longer journeys it’s more expensive.
They operate by a meter, so don’t worry about being over-charged and just ask to go by the shorter route and avoid the A22 (it’s longer via the motorway and you pay the tolls, but it’s quicker).
The drivers know what they are doing and they will find any holiday location you need.
This service is private and door-to-door.
Ask the taxi driver what the cost of the journey is before getting into the taxi.
The usual weekday fare is around €45 (daytime from 6am to 9pm), while the fare for evenings, weekends and public holidays could rise to €55.
Add around 20 per cent more if a six-seater taxi is needed.
